In November of 2016, South Korean artists occupied a portion of Gwanghwamun Plaza in protest against the artist blacklist created by the Park Geun-hye administration.  On  December 4th, CMYK participated in a black market  operating within the encampment at Gwanghwamun Plaza and conduct covert transactions with members of the public. Customers could verify the authenticity of their purchases by scanning a QR code.

Minki Hong and Chae-young Kim are two South Korean artists who make up the performance group CMYK.
